State of the art pharmaceutical factory to Saudi Arabia
Swedish Modules worked with KeyPlants to build an ultramodern pharmaceutical factory for aseptic filling of advanced pharmaceuticals. The factory is the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia.
We were able to meet the stringent demands thanks to our many years of successful collaboration with KeyPlants.
Our expertise and experience have evolved in joint projects with many successful deliveries all over the world.
“We are proud of our partnership with KeyPlants and the opportunity to play our part in driving the development of such a complex field as pharmaceutical factories. Our expertise in meeting the stringent requirements of the medical environment can be transferred to high-quality deliveries in other areas of critical societal infrastructure” says Sven Lans, Site Manager, Swedish Modules.
“Our extensive expertise is built into every detail in a technically advanced production facility, all in a safe work environment. This is possible thanks to our prefabricated modular solution. We have a unique approach that enables us to export our expertise packaged into a finished product and offer possibilities that would often be difficult to achieve locally.”
We know that everything works at the time of delivery
Valuable processing equipment is assembled on site and important tests are carried out prior to delivery; once everything has arrived on site, we know that it works. There is also an opportunity for staff training before the factory is put into operation. The customer’s employees are welcome to visit us in Emtunga to be trained in the environment in which they will be working. Every detail is then tested while the staff receive their training.
Safe work environment
Another factor that ensures high quality is that the factories are built indoors, with the product protected throughout the production period. We have also created a safe work environment for our employees. Our employees in the factory work at a height of around 0.5 metres. Working on a building site is one of the world’s most hazardous occupations. We are extremely proud that we have significantly reduced the risks and created a safe workplace. Our priority is for everyone to come home, safe and sound, at the end of the day.
The modules will be delivered to Saudi Arabia during the last week of August 2018.
